Rt. Hon. Lady Blessing Onuh successfully facilitated the construction of a state-of-the-art, solar-powered ICT Centre at Ugboju Community Secondary School, Okpanchenyi. Built in partnership with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), this digital hub provides modern workstations and reliable internet to students and residents across the Ugboju-Ehaje, Ugboju-Otahe, and Ugboju-Icho council wards.

The VisionTo bridge the rural digital divide, Rt. Hon. Lady Blessing Onuh prioritized sustainable tech infrastructure for the Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency. This intervention eliminates the need for local students and entrepreneurs to travel long distances to township centers just to access basic digital tools and internet services.Key InfrastructureThrough a strategic partnership with the NCC, this standalone facility was built as a fully solarized installation to bypass local grid failures. The center features:A modern, climate-controlled computer laboratory.Networked digital workstations with modern computing systems.Dedicated solar inverter arrays for uninterrupted power.Community ImpactLocated at Ugboju Community Secondary School, the hub serves as a shared regional asset for three major council wards: Ugboju-Otahe, Ugboju-Ehaje, and Ugboju-Icho.For Students: Provides hands-on computer literacy to thousands of youth, preparing them for higher education and modern jobs.For the Community: Empowers local entrepreneurs and residents with free internet access for research, digital skills, and business development.
