ONIPI OBENNA ADOKA Transformer
Deployment and installation of a heavy-duty distribution transformer to establish stable electrical voltage and expand grid capacity for the Onipi Obenna Adoka community.

About this project
The Onipi Obenna Adoka Transformer Project is an ongoing rural electrification capital intervention facilitated by Rt. Hon. Lady Blessing Onyeche Onuh within the Otukpo Local Government Area of the Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency. This critical power sector project is designed to resolve persistent blackouts, dangerous voltage drops, and severe power supply limitations that have historically hampered household activities and restricted agrarian commerce in the Onipi Obenna axis. The scope of the engineering deployment includes constructing a reinforced concrete mounting platform, erecting standard high-tension utility support components, and installing a high-capacity step-down distribution transformer. Additionally, the project integrates low-tension distribution boards equipped with safety circuit breakers to prevent network overloads. Once fully integrated into the local electrical grid, this intervention will significantly improve community safety, expand business operating hours, and stimulate localized socio-economic growth across the Adoka district.
